Dr. Holbert & Associates, Optometrists

Whether you are a first-time contact lens wearer or looking to switch to a more comfortable lens, Dr. Holbert & Associates offers expert contact lens fittings at all three of our South Bay locations.

Why a Professional Fitting Matters

Contact lenses are not one-size-fits-all. Your corneal shape, tear quality, prescription, and lifestyle all affect which lens will work best for you. A professional fitting ensures your lenses are comfortable, provide clear vision, and maintain your eye health.

Types of Contact Lenses We Fit

We fit a full range of contact lens types including daily disposable lenses (the most hygienic and convenient option), bi-weekly and monthly replacement lenses, toric lenses for astigmatism, multifocal lenses for presbyopia (reading difficulty after age 40), rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses for high prescriptions or keratoconus, colored contact lenses, and specialty lenses for hard-to-fit eyes.

The Fitting Process

Your contact lens fitting includes a comprehensive eye exam and prescription determination, corneal curvature measurements (topography), tear film evaluation, trial lens selection and on-eye evaluation, vision and comfort assessment, and a follow-up visit to confirm the fit.

First-time wearers will also receive hands-on training for inserting, removing, and caring for their lenses.
