Dr. Holbert & Associates, Optometrists wants every patient and visitor to be able to use holbert.com, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboards, magnification, voice control, or reduced motion.
Our standard
This website is built and tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, the standard referenced by U.S. Department of Justice guidance for websites. In practice that means every page has a skip link, a keyboard-operable menu, a visible focus indicator, real headings and landmarks, written alternatives for images, text that scales to 200 percent without loss, color contrast well above the required ratio, and animation that switches off when your device asks for reduced motion.
How we test
Every page is checked with automated tooling (axe-core, the engine behind Lighthouse) at desktop and phone sizes, and the menus, buttons, and accordions are checked by keyboard. The site was last reviewed on September 6, 2026, and is re-checked whenever content changes.
Third-party services
Online appointment scheduling is provided by SolutionReach, maps by Google, and videos by their publishers. Those services are outside our control. If any of them is difficult for you to use, call the office nearest you and we will book your appointment or give directions by phone.
Tell us if something is in your way
If you find a page, document, or feature that does not work for you, we want to know. Call Sunnyvale at 408.245.5725, Santa Clara at 408.243.9394, or San Jose at 408.281.3381, or email sunnyvale@holbert.com. Please mention the page you were on and what happened. We aim to respond within two business days and to fix confirmed barriers promptly.
Accommodations in our offices
If you need an accommodation for your visit, such as large-print forms, extra time, or help with paperwork, let us know when you book and we will have it ready.
