Dr. Scott Holbert studied at the University of California, Davis where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. He continued his education at Western University of Health Sciences where he earned his Doctorate of Optometry, with an emphasis in Neuro-Optometry.
Extensive work in primary eye care, contact lenses, binocular/pediatric vision, and ocular disease management were essential elements of Dr. Scott Holbert’s clinical education. He completed externships at the Vision Care Center in Brawley, California; Focus Vision Therapy Center in Boise, Idaho; and Win Retina in Arcadia, California. Dr. Scott Holbert was especially proud of his clinical experience at the Pinon Health Center & Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility (a part of the Navajo Indian Health Service) in Arizona. At the Indian reservation he served the community in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye diseases such as glaucoma, diabetes, and hypertension.
Dr. Scott Holbert is certified in the management and treatment of ocular diseases. He is also certified to diagnose and treat glaucoma. Dr. Scott Holbert is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, and the local Santa Clara County Optometric Society.
Dr. Scott Holbert is ectastic to join his father, Jeffrey Holbert, in providing professional and personalized patient care to the Silicon Valley community. As a 4th generation optometrist, Dr. Scott Holbert is dedicated to providing high quality vision care as set forth by his great grandfather (Irving Holbert), grandfather (Alan Holbert), and father (Jeffrey Holbert).
In his spare time, Dr. Scott Holbert enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
