Dr. Scott Holbert, O.D.

Dr. Holbert O.D. studied at the University of California, Davis where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. He continued his education at Western University of Health Sciences where he earned his Doctorate of Optometry, with an emphasis in Neuro-Optometry.

Dr. Holbert O.D. is board certified in the management and treatment of ocular diseases. He is also certified to diagnose and treat glaucoma. Dr. Scott Holbert O.D. is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, and the local Santa Clara County Optometric Society.

As a 4th generation optometrist, Dr. Scott Holbert O.D. is dedicated to providing high quality vision care as set forth by his great grandfather (Irving Holbert), grandfather (Alan Holbert), and father (Jeffrey Holbert). His great grandfather, Irving Holbert, became an optometrist in 1919 and practiced in San Francisco.  His grandfather, Alan Holbert received his degree in 1943.  Jeffrey  and Alan Holbert formed a partnership and began practicing together in 1979 in Sunnyvale, California.  Scott and Jeffrey formed a partnership in 2013 and Scott takes great pride in continuing the family’s optometric tradition over a 100 years in the making.

In his spare time, Dr. Holbert O.D. enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and space exploration.
